Hello from close to edge. The edge of what, I don't know. And how close I've yet to find out.

"I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center."

Kurt Vonnegut

But no one can go to the edge by choice.

Where am I?

I started in the New Forest

Laundrettes are funny places. They are one of the places where fellow roadtrip lifers bump into each other. I met Tim, a retired architect. We ate breakfast near each other. I had cereal and bananas, he had fried egg and bacon. He's clearly winning at roadlife more than me.

Why

Seemed like the thing to do at the time.
